During this guided food tour stop at 2 restaurant and try an assortment of nibbles to discover all the classics of Scottish: smoked salmon and oatcakes, cullen skink soup, fish & chips, haggis, cranachan and garlic mushrooms on sourdough await your taste buds. To go with these dishes, enjoy a beer and a whisky tasting and enjoy the true spirits of Scotland (pun intended!).

Step into a world of sweetness and creativity with our Fudge Making Class, where the art of confectionery becomes an immersive experience. This hands-on workshop invites you to explore the alchemy of fudge-making, turning simple ingredients into delectable, melt-in-your-mouth treats.

  1. Introduction to Fudge Making: Begin your culinary adventure with an introduction to the history and science behind fudge. Discover the origin of this classic confection and how simple ingredients undergo a magical transformation.

The number of places for the workshop is limited, we only accept groups of up to 8 people.

Please note that young cooks under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

 

Good to know: 

Edinburgh is a city built on ancient volcanoes and is sometimes subject to the weather, which is part of its charm. Please bring comfortable shoes and remember to bring rain gear!

Tour available at fixed times every day of the week except Saturday and Sunday, please contact us if our proposed times do not match.

This tour is unavailable in Summer between July and August

Option: Tasting to music!

Want to have an even more festive time? From Flower of Scotland to Wild Mountain Thyme, a local musician will play traditional Scottish music on guitar to accompany your meal and to introduce you to the musical culture of the Highlands.

Duration: 1 hour - supplement £400
