IMMERSIVE GAMES FOR ALL AGES
WHAT DO YOU WANT TO DO?
At Thunderdices, we are first and foremost storytellers and creator of immersive games.
Ever wanted to walk with dwarfs and elves in Middle Earth? To become a student at a school of magic and defeat dark wizards? An immersive game (also called “roleplaying game”) is at the crossroads between an audiobook with a complex story, an improv theatre play, and a Choose Your Own Adventure book. You will embody a fantasy character during our FantasyGrounds games, or a historical character in HistoryAlive! and become a thief, a soldier or a minstrel as an actor brings the story to life, live.
Just close your eyes, relax, and imagine the world described by our actors – but also, interact with this world: investigate, solve puzzles and take decisions that will directly impact how the story unfolds. During an online or offline game you will be in small groups, with a maximum of 7 players for adventures. These last between 2h for one-off adventures and longer for multi-session games.
For our online games, you only need your computer to get started. We use the Roll20 platform to share with you videos, art, custom battle maps, pictures from real locations, music and interactive puzzles – all the tools to build for you a fun adventure.
Our online games are also available offline in Edinburgh (UK), Paris (FR) and Lyon (FR). Depending on the games, we will bring to you custom maps and music, minis and dungeon builds, costumes, potion equipment, parchment & quills, pop-up escape games, and most importantly beer as we usually partner with local pubs !
