Only 2h from Edinburgh and deep in the highlands, this castle is the perfect place to live your Outlander Laird dream. Built in 1560, you can see on the painted ceilings the story of how the Ogilvys of Airlie created the castle in 1560, then lost it during a devastating battle in 1640. The castle is ideally located by Cairngorm National Park and you can easily enjoy scenic walks by the river between games, or hikes in the park. Alternatively, why not visit the nearby whisky distilleries or see Balmoral Castle, the residence of the Queen. The Castle welcomes up to 12 guests and features 6 rooms with doubles. The Laird's bedroom even has its own turret.

You can bring your own food and drinks to the castle's fully furnished kitchen, or a chef can create for you a delicious private dinner based on local food.
